- Great day of worship. Phillip T. did his best job ever leading worship. I loved the songs. The guys in the band were on. It all made for a great time of worship
- We had a lot of children in the Cove today.
- Our members and attenders were encouraged to invite atleast 3 people each for Easter. I think Easter Sunday is going to be our greatest day ever at Summit. I see no reason why we can’t have 300.
- The small group I lead is about to embark on some serious outreach.
- Looking forward to our outdoor baptismal service on May 3.
- Next Sunday we’re going to observe the Lord’s Supper during our worship service. It’s gonna be a little different, but I think it will be a great way to prepare our hearts for Easter.
- Special thanks to Tommy and Serena King. Their family went above and beyond this past Sunday. Thanks!
- I spoke last Saturday at a retreat for the Seniors at Harvester Christian School. We met at a beautiful location in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I wish I could have stayed longer.

- The focus of the service today was servant evangelism. We are looking for opportunities for our small groups to get involved in servant evangelism projects.
- The band brought it. Phillip did a fantastic job of connecting us with God during worship. Wow!
- We rearranged the lobby to make it more guest friendly. Also, we introduced Land of a Thousand Hills coffee. Good coffee with a great story.
- I am excited about Easter. We are encouraging everyone to invite at least three people.
- We are going to do communion a little different during our April 5 service. It should be good.
- Next Sunday we are going to get everyone to take at least 10 Easter invite cards to mail out.

Sunday March 15 Recap
- I finished up a three part series on the Nation of Israel. When you look at the bare facts, Israel as a nation should not exist. The nation of Israel in the 21st century is a God thing. According to the Bible, Israel is a major player in end time prophecy. Amazing!
- Our overall attendace was down a little but the service went great. The band rearranged the stage and I liked it.
- We are getting ready for a big Easter. We are encouraging everyone to invite atleast three people to our Easter service. It should be big!
- On April 5, we are going to observe communion during our morning worship service.
- May 3, we have scheduled another outdoor baptism. We are going to have a cookout at Hunter Park and afterwards have baptism in a portable baptistry.
- Youth Bible study on Wednesday continues to go strong. Shelley usually has around 20 students.

Sunday Recap March 8
- Time change is a killer. However, we made it through.
- Almost all of our volunteers were on time.
- We are looking at making some changes with Kidz Rock. I am excited about that!
- The worship service went extremely well. I think we are really starting to nail some things.
- I’ve gotten some good comments about the Message Guides.
- Easter is only a few weeks away. We are planning for a great day.
- I spoke on the history of the nation of Israel from the time of Moses to the time of Jesus. That’s a lot of years with a lot of opportunity to mess up. We can learn a lot from the mistakes of others.
- I am excited about next Sunday’s message. It will cover the history of the Jewish people from the time of Christ until today. Israel is big time in the news. It’s amazing that such a small nation with a small population can have such an impact on the world scene. There must be more to it than meets the eye!

- Crazy weather! We built a snow man after church.
